Access Control

A typical setup: visitors use the left lane, while residents and trucks use the right lane. Visitors go through the check-in process required by the site's policy. For unmanned access, hardware can be integrated in both lanes.

The attendant verifies the visitor's information. Depending on the site's policy, verbal confirmation from the resident may be required. The attendant looks up any necessary information, such as the frequent visitor list and comments, enters the data and admits the visitor.

The attendant admits the visitor or scans the visitor's QR code directly in the VisitForm Attendant App, using either the device camera or a handheld scanner. VisitForm looks up the QR code in real time and matches it against the resident's admit list.

Note: For manned access, VisitForm TapApprove can be used to notify residents when an unregistered visitor arrives, so they can quickly approve access from their phone. Watch the TapApprove video.

For unmanned access, a mounted QR code scanner, keypad or camera can be installed at the gate. With QR codes, the visitor scans their code at the gate and VisitForm verifies it. Residents can send QR codes as links or as documents.

Manage transponder, toll tag and RFID access, and keep a log of access events. Control each transponder's access level.

With an intercom system installed, visitors can scroll through a list of residents or search for a resident's name, then press the "Call" button. The intercom then calls the resident. Once the resident has verified the visitor, they can simply press a button on their phone to open the gate. If the intercom can scan codes, QR code access can also be combined with the intercom.

With LPR cameras, residents can admit visitors by entering their license plate numbers directly in the VisitForm Resident Portal App. When visitors and vendors arrive, the camera reads the license plate and the gate opens automatically. VisitForm also stores a snapshot of each entry. VisitForm LPR can also be used to quickly identify vendors and contractors.

With the VisitForm Resident Portal (available on Android, iOS, Windows and Web), every resident can manage their frequent visitor list, admit visitors and schedule visits. For manned access, the attendant enters and verifies the visitor's data in the VisitForm Attendant Interface, depending on the entrance policy. The VisitForm Attendant Interface gives the attendant a list of all expected visits and lets them instantly look up resident information, and much more. VisitForm can be used with or without the Resident Portal App.

In the VisitForm Attendant Interface, the attendant gets a complete overview of all registered expected visits. Visits can be registered by residents themselves through the VisitForm Resident Portal, or entered in advance by the attendant, typically after a phone call from the resident.

VisitForm is designed to make check-in as quick and convenient as possible for everyone involved. The Attendant Interface gives the attendant quick access to the resident information they need.
